Newcastle United fullback Danny Simpson feels he will be sold in January.
Simpson is expecting to have to "travel all over the country" to meet clubs who want to sign him, hinting his days at St James' Park are drawing to an end, reports the Mirror.
Aston Villa came close to buying Simpson in August but a deal fell through, and he is under pressure for his place from £5million summer signing Davide Santon.
During a court hearing for a speeding offence, Simpson said: "There is a chance in the future that I will be moving, whether in the transfer window or in the summer.
"I have 18 months left on my contract and I don't think it will go past that."
