Irish legend Paul McGrath has likened Everton midfielder James McCarthy to Manchester United icon Roy Keane.

McGrath wrote in the Sunday World: "I look at James McCarthy in the Ireland midfield and he has all the hallmarks of a young Keano, so it's fantastic that he will learn from the main man himself every time he turns up for international duty."
