Former Aston Villa goalkeeper Nigel Spink feels Brad Guzan sits comfortably among the club's best modern day shot-stoppers.
Villa have enjoyed some great goalkeepers over the years with Spink and Jimmy Rimmer obviously springing immediately to mind.
"Brad is up there," Spink told the Birmingham Mail at the mention of his and Rimmer's names. "He'll be judged, I'm sure, on what he achieves and on performances, over a longer period of time and on his longevity at the club.
"He's still got a bit to work at but he is certainly going in the right direction."
