Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan says he's not obsessed with earning a USA call.

Guzan is behind Everton No1 Tim Howard in Jurgen Klinsmann's thinking.

"My first priority is obviously Aston Villa Football Club. Tim Howard at Everton has done fantastic, not only this season, but in years past year after year. For me the international side of things hopefully will take care of itself.

"If I put performances together where the manager says 'Right, I'm going to call him into the team', I'm happy to go and you hope your name is read out in that starting XI. That's all you can do as a player, put yourself out there and, if selected, go and do a job and hopefully do it well."
