Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan is proud of his form this season.

Guzan is regarded among the Premier League's best performing shot-stoppers.

"You look at consistency and the ability to help their team," he told the Sunday Mercury.

"I think a guy like (Asmir) Begovic at Stoke has done well, and Tim Krul has been really good. (David) De Gea has come through all the criticism he picked up last year and that is never easy.

"To be mentioned in that group is truly an honour."
