Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan has full confidence in his young teammates.

Villa's rookies shipped 15 goals without reply against Chelsea, Tottenham and Wigan and are just above the trap door.

But their New Year's Day draw at Swansea proved the fighting spirit is still alive at Villa Park.

Keeper Guzan said: "Our confidence and belief in each other is sky-high.

"We have put those three defeats behind us and just have to put it right. It's not easy but we're up to the task.

"We can push forward because we have the quality in the dressing room, regardless of age."
