Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies was happy with his Leicester City debut.
Davies and fellow loan signing Kyle Naughton, the Tottenham fullback, made their debuts in the 1-1 draw with Hull City.
Davies said: "It was a big occasion and (Sven Goran Eriksson) took the limelight off us.
"I've not played a league game for a year but to have a manager like this to guide you is good.
"The fact a boss of Sven's stature was phoning up about signing me on loan made it a no-brainer.
"Just to play football was a delight, that was the biggest bonus."
