Aston Villa have paid Watford a further £100,000 after Ashley Young made his England debut in Friday night's friendly against Austria.
The 22-year-old joined the Villans in January and his sparkling form at Villa Park this season has pushed him into Steve McClaren's squad.
And a clause in the move means Villa must pay the Hornets a further instalment of money following his substitute appearance in the 1-0 win over Austria.
Watford received an initial £100,000 when Young was called up to his first England squad and will be due more cash when he appears in a competitive international.
