Aston Villa coach Kevin MacDonald is under consideration for the Nottingham Forest job.
The Daily Express says MacDonald is battling Portsmouth boss Steve Cotterill and former Barnsley manager Mark Robins in the race to take over at Nottingham Forest.
MacDonald has been targeted to take the place of Steve McClaren and was interviewed for the post at the City Ground on Saturday.
