Brett Holman was back to his goalscoring best for AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie on the weekend.
The Aston Villa-bound attacking midfielder fired AZ into the lead in the 47th minute of their eventual 2-1 win over VVV Venlo, marking his return from just over two weeks out due to suspension and injury.
VVV responded through Quin Kruijsen on the hour-mark before USA international Jozy Altidore netted a 65th minute winner for AZ who sit six points behind league leaders Ajax.
Holman, who is set to depart Alkmaar in the summer for Villa, scored his fifth league goal of the campaign which now has just three fixtures remaining.
