Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood admits Darren Bent is likely be leaving this summer.

Bent will not be recalled for training this month, going on holiday instead now Derby County's season is over. He is out of contract and will study his options this summer.

"I don't need him back, I can't play him any way," said Sherwood.

"These other boys I need to find out about, I don't need to know anything about Darren Bent."
