Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood hailed matchwinner Tom Cleverley after victory over West Ham United.
Sherwood admits he enjoys coaching the on-loan Manchester United midfielder.
He said: "I like Tom.
"I said to him when I first came here that I had seen a lot of him on loan at Watford. He scored double figures in the period I was watching him.
"He bombs forward. He has a lot of energy.
"He shows a lot of determination - and he's on loan to us! He treats it as if it is his own. He leaves nothing on the field.
"If you could add anything to his game it was goals. I told him 'you don't score goals unless you make runs into the box.'
"He is a good technician. When he gets those chances in the box, he will score. I am pleased for him.
"He gets it too. He's easy to coach. You only have to tell him once and he's on it. He's a very intelligent footballer. I am pretty sure he will get back in the England squad very soon."
