Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has explained his confrontation with the fourth official during last night's 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
O'Neill was asked to put on a bib in the first half because his black training top clashed with the away side's strip.
He said: "He asked me to change it because it was playing tricks with the linesman on the far side.
"How he thought I could be a footballer is really staggering. They asked me to change and I dutifully did it. I had the green bib on and I nearly went for a run up and down the touchline."
