Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is demanding greater commitment from Charles N'Zogbia.
N'Zogbia, 25, was dropped for failing to turn up for medical treatment but starred on his return in Saturday's 2-1 win at Bolton.
However, boss McLeish still wants more from the winger, who cost £9.5m from Wigan in the summer. 'Big Eck' said: "We are looking for him to be a great Aston Villa player and that should be his goal.
"It's not about the finer things in life - cars and houses - it's about prestige, being a top player and playing well at a top club.
"Some guys have different personalities than others. It's really about the desire.
"It's harder for creative players, but we know he can do it."
