Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is ready to start Jordan Bowery tonight against Manchester City.
Bowery scored an own goal four minutes after replacing Gabby Agbonlahor in victory over Hull City, but responded well and set up Andreas Weimann's second goal.
Bowery, 22, moved to Villa Park in 2012.
"With a bit more belief he could do really well," said Lambert. "He's only a young kid. He's got a right good opportunity to try and do something as a footballer and if he performs like that then he gives you a problem."
