Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert insists they deserved their victory over Manchester City.
Villa stunned the Manchester giants 3-2 yesterday.
"I thought Andreas Weimann and Libor Kozak in the second half were an absolute handful. But it's not just those boys, the midfield worked ever so hard, the three lads at the back were excellent, the wing-backs were great. Collectively as a group, every one of them was excellent.
"The lads might get beaten in certain games but one thing I would always say is that they give you absolutely everything in their bodies. I am really proud of them.
"The start we have had had been really, really tough with the fixtures that have been thrown at us but I am really, really proud of them.
"I knew they had a lot of possession in the first half but Brad didn't really have a save as such," said Lambert.
