Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert denies he's about to return to Norwich City for Grant Holt.
The new Villa boss confirmed there is no clause to stop him signing players from Norwich, but said he 'hasn't even thought' about making an approach for striker Grant Holt.
Lambert said: "Grant Holt was brilliant for me. I've a lot of time for him, but things move on. I had three brilliant years at Norwich. No doubt the fans will say I'm the worst manager in the club's history now because I've left.
"It's normal because they're a bit hurt, but I had my reasons to leave. You can make of that what you want. I was never unhappy with budgets. It was a challenge, which was great."
