New Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier has revealed he is interested in reuniting with Manchester United striker Michael Owen. The pair worked together at Liverpool for six years and Houllier, who begins work at Villa Park next week, confirms he has entertained thoughts of having the 30-year old under his tutelage once again.
"He has always been in my thoughts," Houllier Canal+.
"I like him, as a player and a man.
"I went to Liverpool on September 4 for Jamie Carragher's testimonial, and I saw Michael play a half of football.
"He still has the legs for it."
