Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish admits he was disappointed with Chris Herd's dismissal in defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

The Aussie saw red for allegedly stamping on Swedish stopper Jonas Olsson.

Eck said: "Chris has been very quiet in dressing room. He feels he's left team down.

"He got involved in a wee bit of pulling and shoving. Hopefully he's not been lured into doing something he shouldn't."
