Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish was pleased with Brad Guzan in defeat to Manchester United.

The American goalkeeper was a first-half substitute for hamstring victim Shay Given.

McLeish said: "Shay has tweaked a hamstring and we hope it's a grade one which would mean a pretty swift recovery.

"Great credit to Brad for coming in and handling it. He did really well. He was unfazed and I was delighted with his performance."
