Aston Villa striker Andi Weimann has picked up a hip injury in preseason action.
The Sunday Mercury says the Austrian striker winced with pain as he left the field in the first half of the 2-2 friendly draw with Wycombe at Adams Park.
It followed a crunching foul by Chairboys defender Charles Dunne.
Weimann will be checked over by the club medics, but is a doubt for Tuesday's practice match at Luton.
