The agent of David Villa cannot rule out a move to Barcelona for the Valencia striker. Jose Luis Tamargo said: "I do not know how much of this news may be true or not, but Barcelona is a great club, and if they went for David Villa, it would be appreciated.

"David feels great loyalty to Valencia for what they've done for him. But there's no question that Barcelona are a step higher.

"If he and (Lionel) Messi were to play together, it would be explosive."
