Patrick Vieira insists he can meet the challenge of Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini to come good.
The French veteran scored in the 6-1 romp at Burnley on Saturday and began to look more like the player who became a Gunners legend.
And Vieira, 33, admitted he was starting to feel like his old self again while vowing to help take City into the Champions League.
He said: "When I arrived I wasn't physically at the top but I'm getting better.
"Hopefully I can help the team to achieve what we really want."
