Vidmar recalls trio of departing Adelaide players

Adelaide United coach Aurelio Vidmar will call upon a trio of players who will not be at the club next season. The Reds need to change things up for tomorrow night's preliminary final against the Queensland Roar and have called on midfielders Diego and Jonas Salley and defender Angelo Costanzo.

Reds assistant Phil Stubbins said Diego could be the key in midfield.

Diego's proved to be a fantastic player and certainly someone who has the ability to open up opposition defences," Stubbins said.

"He had a terrific ACL campaign with us prior to his injury, we know what he's capable of and he's certainly at the top end of the performers in the A-League, so if we can get him on the paddock it would be a great avenue for us to goal."
