Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic admits they need manager Sir Alex Ferguson on the touchline.

Ferguson has copped a ban for his outburst against referees and Vidic says the players will miss his influence.

"It's always good to have the manager there to give advice to players, to change the things if he needs to. In that way we definitely need him on the touchline," said Vidic to Sky Sports.
