Eduardo Sebrango has signed a one-year contract with MLS expansion franchise Montreal Impact.
The 38-year old Cuban-born Canadian striker originally joined the Impact in 2002 before heading to Vancouver Whitecaps three years later but returned to Montreal in 2009.
This pre-season, ahead of the former NASL club's inaugural MLS campaign, Sebrango was unsure of his future but that has now been sorted by penning a deal to play in North America's top flight with the Impact despite his age.
"That's the thing about sport, you have to prove yourself every time you're on the field. Here it's going to be even harder.
"It's going to be a challenge but I'm ready for it.""It (pre-season) was tough the first couple of weeks, but then I started feeling better and I think I did well," he said.
