Veteran keeper Harper not worried about Hull City future

Steve Harper insists he is not thinking about a new contract with Hull City just yet.

The 40-year old became the Tigers oldest player in history when he took the gloves for Saturday's 2-0 loss at Southampton but has made it clear that he is not pondering what is next as he would rather help the club to safety this term.

"I have had a couple of calls or sniffs about continuing as a player but I am not even remotely considering making any decisions until the end of the season," Harper told the Hull Daily Mail.

"There is about half a dozen of us (out of contract), but I am at an age where I can afford to concentrate on doing everything possible to keep this club in the Premier League.

"I felt all right, I am just disappointed because our performance was a lot, lot better but still ultimately disappointing not to get anything from it."
