Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen is happy with his role at Spurs.

Some in Belgium feel Vertonghen should put his hand up for the club captaincy.

But he says: "I've just started here. In the hierarchy, I again started at the bottom and as the years go by, I will again become important."

He also expects more Belgians to follow him to England.

"Guys like Nacer Chadli, Dries Mertens and Toby Alderweireld have followed me to the Netherlands. They may follow us to England, I can recommend it anyway."
