Marnick Vermijl is delighted for Will Keane after his goal for Sheffield Wednesday in their draw with Cardiff City.

Keane is on-loan at the Owls from Manchester United.

Ex-United man Marnick Vermijl said: "I was happy Will got on the score-sheet against Cardiff. He's a good friend of mine.

"I know how much that meant to him and how important it was for him to get that first goal.

"Hopefully he will now kick on from that.

"Will is hard-working but he's got that flair in his game.

"At Manchester United, his nickname was Berbatov. We always called him that because his touch was exactly the same as Berbatov's."
