Velez Sarsfield have confirmed the interest of Real Madrid in star winger Ivan Bella.

Velez spokesman Beto Maceira has revealed Real and Benfica scouts are monitoring Bella, who has been likened to Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria.

"I know that the other day a representative from Benfica was here to watch the game with Boca Juniors. After that he would have talked to our president, but that's normal. Also here was a representative of Real Madrid," said Maceira.
