Sunderland midfielder David Vaughan insists there's great spirit inside the locker room, despite defeat to Arsenal.
While Vaughan says the early goals are a cause for concern, he feels the subsequent comebacks highlight a never-say-die attitude on Wearside.
"The spirit is there - this team doesn't lie down and give up," said the midfielder, who joined the club on a free transfer in the summer after leaving Blackpool, to safc.com.
"We have to cut out these early goals because we're not going to win many games if we keep doing that.
"But we are all fighting for each other and fighting for the results we need."
