David Vaughan is looking to continue his good personal form since Martin O'Neill took over at Sunderland.
The Welsh midfielder has been given an opportunity under O'Neill and has contributed to the Black Cats picking up four wins and a draw from seven matches since the sacking of Steve Bruce and he is intent on kicking on after getting the club up to 12th on the table.
"I think I've started all the games under Martin O'Neill and hopefully that will continue.
"I would have liked to have played better in some games, but you can't be at your best in every single match.
"I've managed to chip in with a couple of goals though, and they've been decent strikes too.
"I'm not sure whether I'll be able to keep on scoring goals like those, but I'll do my best!""I'm pleased to be playing and it's good to have been given a run in the side," Vaughan told The Journal.
