Vancouver Whitecaps have terminated the contract of Gambian striker Mustapha Jarju.
The 25-year old arrived at Vancouver as a Designated Player from Belgian club RAEC Mons in July last year but failed to live up to expectations as consistent goalscorer and has now been let go.
The decision from the Whitecaps frees up a DP spot whilst bringing the international roster spots for the Canadian club down to 10.
Jarju made 10 appearances for the Whitecaps last season but failed to score a goal.
