Vancouver Whitecaps' Lee may try to persuade QPR's Park to join MLS

Vancouver Whitecaps defender Lee Young-pyo suggests he could try and lure Park Ji-sung to Major League Soccer.

The 35-year old former South Korea international is preparing for his second season with the Whitecaps and said he may look to bring a top player from his country, such as QPR midfielder Park, to British Columbia next year.

In an interview with The Province, Lee responded with the following when asked if he would get Park to replace him in Vancouver.

"Last week I was talking with Ji-Sung Park actually," he said.

"If I can, I will bring another good Korean player. Must be much better than me."

Park joined the R's from Manchester United last summer but has struggled to have the impact the West London club wished for in what has been a tough campaign at Loftus road.
