van 't Schip delighted after Melbourne Heart's first away win

Melbourne Heart coach John van 't Schip was delighted his side managed their first win away from home yesterday.

The Heart moved up to sixth with a 2-0 triumph over Newcastle Jets in Port Macquarie and the Dutchm was very pleased with how his players went about their business despite the game being changed from EnergyAustralia Stadium just days prior.

"It was great for us, our first away win," he said. "We played well but not always the way we wanted but this was a difficult game in different circumstances.

"Overall, we were very organised and created more chances and in the end we deserved to win 2-0.

"It was important for us with the confidence we are having but we still needed an away win and today we achieved that."
