Van Persie unsure of Man Utd future

Robin van Persie admits he does not know what the future holds for him at Manchester United.

The Dutch striker comes out of contract with the Red Devils in June 2016 but suggests he knows nothing about staying on at Old Trafford once the initial four-year deal he signed in 2012 expires.

"It is not up to me," the former Arsenal captain said.

"For the moment, I am staying here for eighteen months. That is it really.

"I can't look into the future.

"I don't know what is going to happen after that, so we shall have to wait and see."

Van Persie also admitted that he was no happy with his goalscoring form this term which has thus far yielded eight goals in 20 Premier League appearances.

"This year I have played something like 20 games and I have scored eight goals. I am not happy with that, I want to score more," he added.
