Former Holland midfielder Wim van Hanegem has questioned Memphis Depay's move to Manchester United. Van Hanegem isn't convinced that the £33 million United will pay PSV for his signing will guarantee Depay a start in Louis van Gaal's first team.

"I still have my doubts," admits Van Hanegem . "Of course they've paid a huge sum for him, but what is big money in football nowadays?

"It is run by businessmen with money to throw around.

"80 players who have cost 85 million euros, currently just sit on the bench."
