Louis van Gaal's reshaping of the Manchester United squad is all but complete, with the Dutchman having spent more than £250million on transfers since taking over 12 months ago.
The Guardian is reporting that van Gaal is content with his efforts this summer, having brought the likes of Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Sergio Romero and Anthony Martial to Old Trafford.
It is understood van Gaal believes he has just about finished the rebuilding project United's squad required following David Moyes' departure.
It is also believed van Gaal's spending in future transfer windows will be far less than the exorbitant amounts United has splashed out on players during the past year.
