Louis van Gaal admits he may have to ponder a little more physical presence when selecting his Manchester United line-up in the future.
The Dutch tactician replaced Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera with towering Belgian international Marouane Fellaini at half-time of Monday night's 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
Fellaini's introduction proved a success as he cancelled out Stephane Sessegnon's brilliant opener with a fine goal in the 48th minute which saw him beautifully control Angel Di Maria's lofted ball with his chest before striding into the area and firing beyond Boaz Myhill.
After the match, van Gaal eluded to the fact that Fellaini's physicality helped get his side a point and may look to bring in more elements of aggression as the season progresses.
"Herrera has played a normal game, not very good but normal, but we have to look also for physical talents and maybe that's our problem," he told Sky Sports.
"I'm a coach who is always thinking about creative players but in England you also need physical bodies in your team and Fellaini is one of these."
Following Sessegnon and Fellaini's goals, Saido Berahino put Albion ahead in the 66th minute with his sixth of the season before Daley Blind scored his first United goal to grab a share of the points.
