Bayern Munich captain Mark van Bommel is seeking a new deal to remain with the club.
The Holland international's current deal expires in June but he is keen to shore up a new contract so he can stay at the Allianz Arena for at least another year.
"I have heard that negotiations will take place during our training camp in Dubai, " he told www.spox.com.
"There are many contracts running out so I am curious to see what happens.
"I still feel like I am at home in Munich. I had the opportunity to move last season on better conditions and with a longer term, but it is hard to turn your back on FC Bayern.
"You know what you have got here. I could have earned more money elsewhere, but the important thing is the (stature of the) club you represented when you retire."
