Valenciennes defender Dayot Upamecano is in talks with Manchester United.
The 16-year-old centre-back is a France U17 international and has also attracted interest from AS Monaco and PSG.
The Daily Mail says United are now close to agreeing compensation with Valenciennes for Upamecano.
Valenciennes are looking for up to £700,000 which would be based on bonuses.
