Valencia wing-back Alessandro Florenzi is unsure of his future at parent club Roma.
Florenzi joined Valencia on-loan in January.
"[Paulo Fonseca] is and has been an important person for me," he said during a Facebook broadcast.
“He's been a real coach, who says what he thinks. We tried to follow a path and he told me how he felt about me.
“We'll do it again, he'll be clear like how he was in January. He's a top man and a top person.
“The next two years will be crucial. I'm reaching an age when, psychologically, mentally and physically, I'll be in peak condition.
“After that will be the Euros and World Cup, so I'll have to be ready. My objective is to play as much as possible. Once my loan is over, I'll return to Roma."
