Valencia striker Edinson Cavani admits the modern attitudes that exist in football aren't for him.
Cavani left Manchester United for Valencia last summer.
He told the Guardian: “We have maintained that essence. Look at modern football, which is losing that essence. Maybe I come from that old school. Maybe I don't quite fit in with modern football, in terms of attitudes, what it means for the players.
"That doesn't mean you can't say how you feel, right? I see it constantly: modernism, social networks, how the world is, how technology has advanced, what has gotten into football. That changes minds.
"Before, everyone on a team had the same goal. These days, in certain teams for various reasons (fame, what people and the press make the players feel), that is not always the case."
