Valencia rubbish claims of Villa, Silva agreement with Real Madrid

Valencia have denied reports they've encouraged Real Madrid to make an offer for David Villa and David Silva.

Los Che president Vicente Soriano has denied any such proposal was made, claiming the reports were "completely false".

"We just said hello because we know each other. We didn't say a single word referring to football or players.

"I'm obliged to come out and say this because the news is totally untrue, just so the Valencia fans know.

"Whoever spread this false information could have contradicted the story with only one call and we would have avoided all this."

Villa, meanwhile, has followed in the footsteps of team-mate Silva by insisting he wants to complete his contract with Valencia.

Villa penned a six-year deal with Los Che last August, tying him to the club until 2014, and he told Radio Marca last night: "I signed a contract of six years and I'm going to fulfil it.

"The club have always kept me informed about everything related to me and they haven't said anything about a possible offer."
