Valencia president Amedao Salvo insists Nicolas Otamendi must come clean if he wants to leave.
The Argentina defender, a target for Manchester United, has seen his agent slam Los Che chief Rufete this week and claim he is determined to leave the Mestalla.
But Salvo responded last night: "Valencia ignores all rumours and ignores all ways or statements that agents are trying to use to exert pressure.
"The club's position is no different than it has been. As a footballer, if he wants to leave, he must make it clear. Not the agent.
"Will he necessarily leave? He costs, at least, €50 million. We are very happy with him and we'd like him to stick to his contract," continued Salvo. "Valencia has not received any bids.
"But again, there must be an offer of a minimum of €50 million. Everyone is responsible for what he signs."
