Valencia to make move for Man City's Dzeko

Spanish club Valencia are believed to be showing significant interest in Manchester City's Dzeko.

The Daily Star is of the belief that Los Che are hoping to lure the Bosnian striker to the Mestalla by offering £20million for his services.

Dzeko was an integral part of City's Premier League title triumph last season by scoring 16 goals, five of which came late in the campaign in crucial wins, but is yet to be offered a new contract.

The former Wolfsburg ace is contracted with City until next summer but new Valencia owner Peter Lim is looking to make some big-name moves in the next transfer window and wants to start with Dzeko.

Reports suggest that Manuel Pellegrini is keen to keep Dzeko, who will be offered a new two-year deal to stay at the Etihad Stadium, but Valencia are prepared to offer four.
