Valencia have Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan top of their shopping list.

O Jogo says Valencia have intensified their pursuit of Gaitan in recent weeks.

The Argentina international attacking midfielder was linked with a move to Mestalla in December but Valencia instead signed Enzo Pérez.

There is thought to be a gentleman's agreement between club and player that Gaitán would be allowed to leave in the summer if a decent offer came in for his services.
