Valencia have completed the signing of Almeria goalkeeper Diego Alves.

Los Che president Manuel Llorente has confirmed the capture this week.

"Diego Alves? Yes, we have signed Diego Alves," he said before adding 24-year-old goalkeeper Guaita had agreed to extend.

"Today would also be a good day to announce the renewal of Guaita. Next season we will have the most numerous and best goalkeeping [department] in Spain."
