Valencia coach Unai Emery has dismissed their top-of-the-table status after yesterday's 1-0 victory over Osasuna.

He explained: "Being leaders I consider as somewhat anecdotal, because we are among several teams with seven points. The most important thing now is that the team continues to improve, progress and is able to cope with complicated games like this.

"We have just started and we have to be careful."
