Valencia coach Baraja supports Guerra leaving social media

Valencia coach Ruben Baraja supports Javi Guerra leaving social media.

The young midfielder has shut his accounts this week.

Baraja said: “The assessment I make is that for whatever reason he has felt that he did not have to be on that social network, and the feeling I have is that he is fine, that he understands that he is 20 years old and is playing for a big club like Valencia CF, with the exposure that that has.

"He has just come through, and he still has a lot to give. It is time to give him love, support him, protect him and he has a fantastic future. He has tremendous quality, he is very complete and we have to get the most out of him.

"What we cannot do is think that Javi Guerra is going to solve all the problems, or win all of our games... I am convinced that he is going to grow, for sure. The decision he made would have been made thinking that it is for the best."
